Since graduating from of Art Center College of Design in 1991, Peter Michelena has worked with 

numerous record labels and advertising agencies, creating powerful, unique imagery for a wide

variety of clients. In 2000, he opened Melrose Lightspace in West Hollywood, a mixed use

space, designed for use by photographers, artists, teachers and anyone else interested in artistic

and educational pursuits. In 2009, Michelena and Melrose Lightspace began offering specialized

workshops, aimed at aspiring fashion and beauty photographers. Michelena lives in Hollywood,

where he enjoys surfing and spending time with his pit bull rescue, Daisy.
